A framework for educational structure
The European Orthopaedics & Traumatology Education Platform EOTEP proposes a new approach in the field of the lifelong learning for Orthopaedic & Traumatology Surgeons practicing in Europe and beyond.
The EOTEP is a framework for educational structure emanating from:
- the development of the European Curriculum, including
- the reformulation of an EFORT educational pathway adapted to societal – political – professional changes, and
- aiming at a unified assessment mechanism through the current EBOT exam and harmonization in surgical training throughout Europe.
The EOTEP provides easily accessible, high quality and evidence-based educational material with a priority for CME/CPD accredited activities. It is compiled with educational programmes organised by EFORT, National and Specialty societies.
