Message of support for Ukraine
|
|
It is with great sadness and deep concern that the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT), learns of the rapidly unfolding situation and humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
|
|
|
|
While we remain an apolitical federation of the national societies of orthopaedics and traumatology in Europe, with a role to promote science, education and research in diseases and injuries concerning the musculoskeletal system, we abhor the use of violence or war and see no place for either in settling disputes of any kind.
EFORT condemns the military aggression against Ukraine. We express our strong support to our colleagues and the millions of citizens in Ukraine caught in this crisis [...]

23rd EFORT annual Congress
|
Abstract-based sessions, where do we stand?
|
|
Through the submission of their scientific work for the 23rd EFORT annual Congress, thousands of members of the EFORT community have demonstrated the high standard in O&T research and practice around the world.
|
|
|
|
After a 2-month review process ensured by our appointed experts, the EFORT Science Committee consolidated the 40% of the programme dedicated to abstract-based sessions.
With this important milestone completed, EFORT has selected for onsite presentations:
• 576 oral Free Paper sessions (5-minutes podium presentations)
• 360 Poster presentations within Poster Walks (best-rated posters)
• 721 daily wallpaper Posters
Consequently, EFORT is proud to announce a total of 1,657 abstracts accepted within the scientific programme to foster interaction among participants and experts.
EFORT warmly thanks the reviewers and the members of the EFORT Science Committee for their hard work, essential to continue our mission of delivering high-quality education across Europe.

2022 Day-by-Day scientific programme
|
|
The preliminary Day-by-Day scientific programme for our upcoming annual congress taking place in Lisbon, Portugal, from 22 to 24 June 2022, is now available for consultation.

In January, the EFORT Science Committee defined the final content details of:
With the Day-by-Day scientific programme, you can refer to the session distribution and topic tracks of interest. If you are a speaker in the programme, this overview will allow you to quickly check the date and time of your known assignments.
A preliminary version of the scientific programme is available since 01 March 2022 to allow all participants to plan in detail their attendance and optimize their educational experience during the congress. The final Advanced Scientific Programme will be revealed next week on 15 March 2022.
