Passport & visa requirements
Foreigners travelling to Turkey will need a passport and, for most countries, a visa to enter Turkey. Visas can be obtained either beforehand or on arrival at all entry points to Turkey. For detailed information about which countries need a visa and how you should apply, please find a preliminary list here. This is intended as a rough guide only. Detailed and up-to-date information should be obtained from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Turkey
EFORT will send invitation letters for visa purposes to registered participants only. To request an official letter of invitation for your visa application, be sure to have the following details information ready when processing your request: your full name as it appears on the passport and your passport number. EFORT will not be able to contact or intervene with any Turkish Embassy or Consulate office abroad on your behalf. Please start the visa application process as early as possible.
Disclaimer: This procedure is intended to assist participants who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the EFORT Congress 2013 and is not an official invitation covering fees and/ or any other expenses or financial support for the conference. EFORT is not to be held responsible for the outcome of your visa application. Those persons needing an official invitation letter in order to attend the Congress may contact EFORTinfo@mci-group.com specifying the necessary details.
